About the Course
Crochet is fast becoming one of the most popular crafts and has such a relaxing ethos about it that even watching someone crochet is calming and hypnotically pleasing, so why not give it a go!
On this course you will learn the basic formative stitches of Crochet. You will learn how to hold and manoeuvre the crochet hook. You will learn to cast on, crochet some basic stitches and cast off, enabling you to progress further with other stitches and work. You will also be taught how to read and understand Crochet symbols and terminology and use these when making an item.
This is a beginner’s class therefore if you have no crocheting experiences at all don’t worry as this is what we are here to teach you.
On this course your will:
Learn how to identify tools and yarns used within Crochet
Learn how to cast on and off
Develop various crochet stitches
Learn to recognise and understand Crochet Symbols and Terminology
Learn how to read a simple Crochet pattern
